“I am often asked who should attend the UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy, so here are a few examples: The course is aimed at personnel in plant breeding programs within the industry who lack an academic background in genetics theory and practice. It’s also suitable for current breeders seeking a refresher or looking to expand their expertise, as well as recent graduates who lack practical experience and a commercial mindset, said Dr Jovan Djordjevic UC Davis European Academy Director.

The next European Plant Breeding Academy class, Class VIII, will begin in March 2025 in Enkhuizen, Netherlands. The EPBA VIII Application is still open but space is limited with only a few spots left!
